Here is the thread I created for comparing with option I wanted to go with: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/175024-3055520-or-2756020/

Here is the thread with pics of my truck: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/171035-rawyzfs-2015-silverado-z71-build/

My 275/60/20 do rub the liner in reverse at full lock, it's a tad annoying but not horrible. I am curious if 295/55/20 would rub. However, 295/55 doesn't have near the tire options that 275/60 does. With 1.5" spacers though, it puts me at 20x9 -12. I think with 275/60 and +0 or +6, I think it will work good without rubbing.

Thank you sir, greatly appreciate it! The spacers certainly help a lot - great looking truck! I had the same tires as you on my truck (and sle wheels) and now have 275-60-20 Toyo Open Countrys. They are a little skinny for my liking so I am going to get a new wheel and tire package and sell what I currently have.

The 2 wheels I am looking at only come in 0mm and +6mm offset. I am torn on which one to go with (6mm is barely any difference than 0, just trying to pick a style at this point) and then the big decision is tires.

295-55-20 Toyo Open County AT2 - 60lbs (10-ply)

305-55-20XL Nitto Terra Grappler G2 - 51lbs (4-ply)

Due to the low offset id like to get the 295's since they're narrower but 10lbs a corner and being 10ply vs 4ply has me steering towards the Nittos, I just don't want them to stick out too far past the fenders.

Ahh, decisions decisions!

If I could start over (and probably will once these tires die in 50K) I will go with 20x9 or 18x9 +0 and 33x12.5 tire.

Man being in Canada has its ups and downs... Starting to debate on just getting new tires and a spacer for my stock wheels and holding off on rims for a while..

Anyone out there running the XD Grenade or XD Brigade 20x10 -24 offset in black? Considering trading in my wheels for one of these.

Tire size is 285/65/18. Heres a side shot, I will take another tomorrow to show how far they stick out.

Those 285s look really nice but it looks like there is still plenty of room around them for the next size larger. Is there?

I got about 1/4"-1/2" clearance at full lock, but thats because of the wheel offset which is +1. Higher offset would give you more clearance. I wanted them to stick out abit and didnt want to trim, so that's why I went with that size.

By higher, do you mean you would have more clearance like with a stock rim (+35) or with negative offset like a -12.

Either way, please post some more pics from different angles (front, rear, quartering). Not many pics of trucks running 285s on 18.

The higher the number the more they will be in the wheel well, you cant go to high or the tire will rub the control arm. The lower the number the more it will be out of the wheel well. Depends on the look your goin for and tire size you want.

Man that looks soo good. I usually don't see 275/70r18's, what does that tire size come out to? ~34x11"? Post up some more pics! Edited by WendysOrBust
