Thought I'd share. I did not level or do any suspension mods. I DID however crank the front bars up just for looks. I like Rake but it had a LOT of rake. I hate the Nose up in the air boner look that they call "level". IMO the body of the truck is not designed to look right with the fenders are level. It's designed with a lot of rake in mind. So level looks like nose way up in the air....

Anyway.... I went 4 turns on the front T-bar bolts. Which was between .75" and 1" up at the fender. I did that before switching tires and I have to admit the ride suffered. I would have gone back down if I didn't switch tires. We will see how it goes with more rubber. I think the look is just right. Narly enough without to much noise or chop. I will say that adding 33% more rubber weight to each corner (51lbs vs 73lbs) is a bit too much for the stock shocks. Maybe I should have gone for the z71? I may upgrade the shocks sometime. It's not bad just take a little while to settle after a bump. Otherwise I'm pretty happy with them. Yes they probably cost me 1-2.5 mpg depending on the conditions. And I can tell there's more rolling resistance. but hey, they look so cool! beerchug.gif

Noise wise you can hear them at 45-60mph but by 65-70 they're about as quite as the stockers (very quiet) I think this tire is a really good option for an aggressive look but low noise. A hard combo to find. I also had them on my '02 HD and had good luck with that set.

Last thing. I am really happy with the stance of these new trucks. On my '02 I had 1 1/2" spacers on the rear just to make them line up with the front better. It drove me nuts that the back axle was 2" too narrow. GM has that fixed now. everything lines up beautifully with the fenders/board/flaps. clap.gif

I should add clearance is good. .75" or more everywhere. I think I have full travel too. We will see how much things flex. But so far full lock and bumps haven't touched anywhere

What is a T Bar bolt? and where is it? Is it only on the 2500? just got me curious....Picture if possible...

Great setup, sick truck man.

Torsion bars are adjusted by cranking a bolt that pushes on the torsion bar key. 1/2 ton trucks have coil springs on post 2007 trucks. 2500/3500 use torsion bars which are adjustable.
