What did you do to your "other" car (aka musclecar) today

My buddy got his supercharger on his '10 Camaro SS. Some pretty impressive before & after numbers here! He's picking it up today. Too bad the weather royally sucks up here. Doubt he'll be going anywhere with it except straight home.

Is that 700 at the wheels? Crap. Thats awesome, but hope his Trans will hold up, or has he gone through it also?

 

I don't think anything GM makes right now will take it for very long(curious how the new 7speed Auto will do in the long run) from what I remember when I was looking at putting something a little more modern in my last toy.

If there is ever a GMTC meet up in an open carry state with all the CCW members, we should answer one of the scam ads. A dozen members rolling up in Trucks looking like the third string redneck expendables. Couple guys with stars and bars belt buckles, someone playing a banjo song from Deliverance on their radio. "Yes, sir, I will buy your car for 13,000."

 

 

 

On a serious note a guy got scammed/robbed locally, the moron criminal posted the same ad again, and the guy used a different email to set up another meeting. He then informed the police exactly where and when to find the guy.

Yeah, all numbers at the wheels. Just driving it home, he said the thing is absolutely insane, LOL! Plants you back in the seat in 6th gear at 2k RPM.

Well that last picture being one with the car on a dealer lot tells me the 1,000 words or "personal reasons" I would think scam.

Got a repair ballpark of $500 for the rear main seal replacement.

 

Deciding if I want to do it myself(might take me a week or more with my problems and kids)

 

Guy can show the car today BUT it's supposed to be pouring this evening. Might see if I could negotiate to get him to do it if I like it. Engine and trans is bone stock. Looks like Everything else has been replaced.
