You could easily get UPPER 30's for that car.... But dealers do like to make that $9,000 profit don't they!!!

 

I'd almost guarantee a dealer would buy your car for $29k, then put it on their lot for $39,999!

You must have missed when I was following Camaros on eBay a few months ago. A 2011 2SS Convertible Automatic with 12k miles, debadged and looked mint, sold for 27K. It was an hour and a half from me, I was kicking myself for not bidding

Got my 79 Camaro out for the first in a long time this weekend, took it out to the local car show. Changed the motor, and new exhaust with H-pipe I made up last week.

Found a nice pic of my car's original color.

 

 

It was Coronado Gold, as you can see its metallic. It was a "spring color", so I've read that means Pontiac would test paint the colors the spring before and send the some cars to select markets to guage potential sales for the next model year. As it wasn't offered in 68, it obviously didn't do well(how? Seriously? They had some puke ugly colors those years)

This is what my first car looked like. I got rid of it because I couldnt drive it. Rebuilt it with my grandfather and he died before it was 100%.

 

This pic is not of the actual one I owned. This is just a random 76 Formula. This particular one is a 400, mine only had a 350

I dumped the 2bbl 305 and put in a 355 4bbl. Along with the full true dual 2.5" exhaust with H-pipe and long tube hdrs.
