jsep Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 2014 Silverado LTZ Z71 Aurora LED 30" single row combo beam http://www.auroraledusa.com/SINGLE-ROW?product_id=62 Mounted to the rad supports How much light does the light bar throw out being behind the Z71 grille like that? I want to do the same thing, but wasn't sure how much that would affect the light output. I also have the '14 Z71 like yours and noticed the cross-members of the grille are a bit thicker (wasn't sure how well you could aim the beam through them). Got any pics of it at night? Also, the mounts you made look great, did you machine those or pick them up somewhere? Thanks - Jon

The light bar is so bright that the slats in the grill don't do anything to block it out. In this picture it's not aimed perfectly, it's kind of shining into the ground.
jsep Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Thanks! I'm getting one. Any pics with lows only, led bar only, etc.?
jsep Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 I was looking at this light in particular: http://pro-lights.com/products/single-row/pro-sr35 It has the 5W LEDs like yours (150W total). Got a price of $299 with shipping included.
allterrain14 Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 We carry a dual row 300w 30" with 5w LEDs can do it shipped with a wiring harness and wireless remote for $275 if interested. We have a single row 37" too with 5w LEDs for $235 shipped with a harness.
jkyle Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Whats the best way to mount the light bar to the metal braces? Anyone sell brackets?
Mike1220 Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Whats the best way to mount the light bar to the metal braces? Anyone sell brackets? Here's how I did mine. I just got a piece of aluminum from Home Depot and cut it down. I bolted it to the radiator mounts and then the light bar to that. I don't have a direct pic of what I did so I found the best I could and zoomed in, brightened it, and cleared it up as best I could on my iPhone with my photo apps.

What size light bar? what does it look like closed?
Mike1220 Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 30" bar. Not sure what you mean by closed. If you mean what does it look like when everything is out back together I have some pictures already posted in this thread. Post #73.
fuse36 Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Here it is. Just stepped outside to take a pic to show you I have itdo they make this for the LTZ grille? I'm not sure why it just says for z71? I figured inserts would be the same measurements Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

allterrain14 Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 www.infiniteoffroad.com has the single rows listed. If you interested in the high output 5w bulb dual row message me and I can send you a invoice. They look identical to the dual row.
allterrain14 Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Here is the standard dual row. The high output 300w version is $250
tanner709 Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Here's a 32" bar behind the grille of a sierra A/T
