I did this today works great!!!! Next will be stepbar lights hooked to the dome light.

I did this on my 2015 and worked great! just got a 2017 Crew and can't get it to work. Different terminals? Canadian vehicle? Z71? I'm at a loss.

Try and turn your cargo light on at night while in reverse

Works great on mine. Should be standard on all models.

I did this on my 2015 and worked great! just got a 2017 Crew and can't get it to work. Different terminals? Canadian vehicle? Z71? I'm at a loss.

I've looked at the BCM detail for 2017 and they are the same. You check to make sure:

 

- the orientation of the diode is correct?

- each end is making good contact with the terminal?

 

Here is a close up detail. Connection is between the brown and pink plugs.

Yeah, like I said, was a little surprised.
