When the morning dew was on my tailgate today, I could still see where it said GMC. How do I get rid of that

Compound and polish. It will take you about 1 minute.

I might take off my dealer and Sierra signs... leaving the all terrain and GMC bagdes

yes dealer comes off that day. Sometime things get excessive like the flex fuel stuff and what not. Again to each his own and whatever is clever, I just dont like debadging. I dont like the look and whats funny is guys will debadge only to turn around and throw a bunch of gaudy decals and what not on the truck.

To top that off I didnt spend 40-50k to take the badges off. I dont take the bades off of my $150 Nikes I wont do it to a truck. I got the walking billboard concept and understand that, but if branding didnt matter Id be in a nissan or yota

It all comes down to personal preference. I personally like the cleaner look. To me, the brand matters, but the branding doesn't. That's why I'm not in a nissan or yota.

Exactly! It's personal preference. If you "don't get" debadging, that's ok ... you don't have to. That's why these trucks come with different options and colors - everyone has different tastes and needs.

I always debadge. Just looks cleaner, IMO and easier to detail w/o all the labels in the way.

My previous truck I had for the last 18 years, bought new in 1996.

The new truck looked like this 3 weeks ago on the lot:

Had the dealer remove the stripes and here's how she looks now. (Undecided about the bowtie - think the black looks ok for now. Also still have Silverado on the sides)

A clay bar works pretty good to remove leftover adhesive once you've got the majority off. Follow that up with a quick polish/wax and your good.
