LED light mounting

Thought I should share my experience using the home link buttons. I had ordered the wireless remote and receiver from 1320 Performance, then wired the receiver into the existing harness that came with the LED bar. Saved big time rather than ordering their whole harness. The receiver requires power and two grounds, which was available since the toggle switch that came with the harness had a "power on" LED.

The issue I'm having is that when the home link button is pressed, the light sometimes will turn on/off several times, or not at all. What it appears to be is the home link sending out the signal several times for each push of the button. It gets annoying when I press it to turn the light off, and all it does is flash off then back on.

Also for anyone wondering, I programmed one button to do both ON/OFF, just like the remote does, and I programmed a second home link button to operate the strobe function that the second button on the remote controls.

Has anyone else had this issue? Also I apologize if this has been covered already that I haven't seen.

Has anyone used the behind the grill 30" EMB (bracket only) for 2014-2015 Silverado sold by Custom FFSETS or Offroadledbars? Looking for options for mounting. I'd prefer the non drilling mount that Colton_m is selling. Has anyone recently purchased/used his non-drilling mount to mount their light bars?

Colton_m, if you read this, PM me, I'd like to buy a set. Already sent you a couple messages.

Thanks for the help......

Thanks to all the info on here, install was a breeze. Used a 32" OZ-USA 4d light. Not bad for a $120 light bar. 1df84dbdfa503082ef5ea8139a077cd3.jpg

How do you like the lightbar? I've got the 3D OZ bar. Only difference I can tell visually is yours has more spot and less flood than mine. I like that.

Its good for the price but not as bright as I hoping for. My brothers 20" rigid is way brighter than mine.

I'll rather spend the big bucks on other mods so I'm fine with the output of the lightbar.

Here is mine. Finally got it installed. 30" Bar with custom brackets. Didn't see the need to pay for something I can make.

Here is where I installed the switch. Out of the way where it won't be accidentally activated and not easy to see unless you know where it is.

That looks great, what did you use for mounts and do you have any pics?
