Black chrome rims

That's not "black chrome". It's something Chinese platers have decided to convince you it's "Black Chrome". Black chrome is truly black. That stuff is gray. It happens when the trivalent chrome tanks get contaminated. I used to be the QA manager for a chrome line. Seen it.

Here's a link to real Black Chrome processing.

Take your wheels to Ecodize / Paramount Wheel in Santa Ana, CA. You'll be going direct to the polisher/plater and save about 1/3 the price of LA Wheel.

Ecodize does wheels for TRD. They pass my smell test. I got the tour from Ruben, the sales manager. They're online. Paramount Wheel is Fabian's gig for the company. Give him a jingle.http://www.pppwheels.com/

thanks, you may notice my tails and great stop lamp are tinted slightly.

i also have LED tail lights and a LED light strip under the gate .

its a total sleeper as well until i unleash the more then 600 ponies! i smoked a mustang GT earlier today it was pretty comical actually.

I believe you...but I bet that GT wasn't a 5.0...and if it was.....they went trying to hard.....trust me I know....

Pretty sure that wheel color is what is referred to as "Winter Chrome", more a smoked-colored chrome than black.

Well let's see, wIth my truck that runs 0-60 in just over 4 secs and 13 seconds flat in the 1/4 mile

I'm fairly certain the rustang was stock.

The 5.slow has a reputation for not being very fast.

I seem to recall there was also a time when ford made an admission that the mustang wasn't putting out the rated hp everyone was promised.

I don't know what they did to fix It back then but I think they were only rated for something like 300 horses.

When I had my zo6 I had a friend with a GT and a blower and he still couldn't even come close to my z and my z wasn't that much faster than my truck.

Older 4.6 and newer 5.0 are totally different. My wife's 5.0 stock was 420hp but didn't stay that way for long. Your time stats you state are about pretty much the same as a new 5.0(which were better than GM and Dodge so theoretically you will also smoke an SS and an RT). It would be fun to watch.

Anyway...I am done. I was commenting on the rim color.

I am calling bs on the 420 hp stock ford 5.0 unless it was the coyote motor post up some proof on that line.

These would look so good on my truck

^ Looks like 20". eBay is littered with multiple sizes of replicas. 20, 22, even seen 24" oem reps.
