What did you trade-in to get your truck...

Just curious what vehicle (if any) everyone else ended up parting ways with to get your truck. I had a 2008 Cadillac CTS-4 and I don't miss that thing AT ALL! It was in service all the time, it was nothing but a headache. Only good side was that I got to drive dang near every new Cadillac model as a loaner.

 

Glad to get rid of it and to get back into a truck as my daily driver. NO regrets!

A 2007 Silverado. That had tons of problems all out of warranty that cost me a ton of money. I'm like a stupid boyfriend that keeps crawling back to a bad girlfriend.....maybe this time will be different?

Well I didn't trade in or even give a down payment. The engine in my 98 seized and I was tired of fixing major things after the way I treated it so I know it's my fault. I then bought my '14 and traded the 98 as it sat with the seized engine and a few other problems I never fixed to the shop I normally deal with for the UWS toolbox and N-fab steps and installed. I may have been able to get more for it, but I wanted to get rid of it quick, didn't feel like dealing with selling it the way it was and they gave me good deals on work they've done to the 98 and they eventually gave me a decent deal on the exhaust they did.

Traded in my 05 Sierra Crew, every option, zero rust immaculant, 102k, no issues at all other than age, never did anything to it other than front calipers and lots of wax, no complaints about and design or functions, ya sometimes I still ask myself why I did it, hopefully this thing tows better enough to justify,
