Alright I read couple of posts saying that if u have the off road screen display the truck is a 4x4 how is that I own 2015 slt 2wd cc and it has trailer brake and the DIC shows the off road screen yet I'm confused y would my truck have that as an option if its2wd unless somewhere in the process of manufacturing went wrong lol but anywho can someone explain if maybe my truck was initially was going to be a 4x4 or wat I don't understand

I would think they would all have it. A 2wd truck can go off road too.

In a 4WD, that screen will also display what mode you are in. I assume that does not exist in yours, or maybe it says 2WD all the time.

It seems like the inclinometers would be handy (well, entertaining at least; if you need to look at it, you're in trouble!) for everyone.

Is it a Z71?

In a 4WD, that screen will also display what mode you are in. I assume that does not exist in yours, or maybe it says 2WD all the time.

Yea in mine it shows but of course just 2wd and it the off road screen

Not 100% sure it didn't have stickers and it doesn't have rancho shocks so I'm really confused

I don't think Z71 is required, because my Denali isn't (and can't be) a Z71 but it does have the off-road DIC screen.

Guess I'm not alone I just thought it was weird they offered for 2wd ? Does this mean anything particular its not z71 that I know off I don't have rancho shocks cuz they're black so wat does mean I have 3.73 ?? I hope so...

Is the off road screen only in the 2015's? I have a 2014 Z71 and I don't recall,ever seeing that screen.

The shocks on the truck have absolutely nothing to do with which gear set it has. Things like this blow my mind. You should know what gears your truck has before you buy it. How do so many people really not know what they have in their truck? You aren't even sure which suspension the truck has, that's unbelievable.

Did you just buy a truck just to have a truck and not care how it was equipped? All you need to do is read the window sticker, EVERYTHING your truck has is listed on that sticker.

It's just really hard to believe how many people purchase a truck and then come here asking which equipment it has. Crazy! These are things you should know before buying a truck. The window sticker is there for a reason, take a look at it. Hopefully you have the gears you wanted, if not, it's nobody's fault but you own for not finding out before buying.
