New Look, What Do You Think?

I have been longing to change the all chrome look of my 2014 Iridium Silverado. I bought a gloss black grill from GM accessories and cut the egg crate grill out and went with a billet grill. The grill shell had to be painted to body match. I like a little bit of chrome in touches, but not all chrome or all paint. I have a set of GM LTZ Projector headlights that are going in next. I wanted to see if I liked the chrome around the headlights or to body match that as well. I don't mind the bumper so much being chrome, but the overall look is growing on me. I also went with a contrasting Chevy bowtie emblem in Topez Blue. What do you think?

Looks good! I'd color match the headlight bezels when ya put in the new lights and call the front done!

did you paint the bowtie in the grille or buy it? Is it hard to swap out? I want to paint mine white to match my trucks color.

There is a company that actually makes billet replacement bowties for the front and back that body matches the paint. Plastic dip is not an option if you want body match paint color. They actually have an option that I used that gives you a template to drill out the plastic rivets made into the factory bowties and you never have to use a tool except the drill! I drilled both of mine out and replaced them with billet body painted emblems that use 3m double sided tape. I had done this on my original grill and then I swapped the bowties when I had the grill out and could easily get to the mounting pins. The company site is: http://www.americanbrotherdesigns.com/

Unfortunately the bowties are now only black or chrome. Only GMC are color matched.

That American Brothers is who the forum store on this website uses. I got my front GMC emblem in blue from here. The admin commented on my post that GM will not allow colors for the bowtie, only the GMC letters. It's a license issue, they legally cannot produce other colors.
