Display themes?

Just curious I've noticed on some silverados you can customize the mylink theme but on mine I can't? Is it just a certain year you were able to do that?

Theme changing is only on 2014 Silverados. I'm not sure if the 2014 Sierras did it, but the 2015 and on trucks don't, regardless of make.

My 14 does.... Wow that is stupid of you cant now. Instead of moving foward and offering downloadable options for even more they cut it all together.

2014 was the only year for that on 1500 trucks. 2015 HD trucks built prior to Aug.14 have the themes as well. Any HD after that date and any 1500 that its 2015+ have the one fixed theme.

I have been driving my dads '15 1500 CC High Country. It has themes.

I picked up my 2016 1500 CC LTZ today. 1 boring theme. I guess that is the trade off for Apple Car play.

I must have missed something or you can't do it on the GMC's at all. If I am able to change the theme what settings/options would I go to in order to do so?

From what I have read in a couple other threads is that Sierra's only have ONE theme.

If you want to try and find it.

In the Silverado - Settings / Display / Themes (if I remember correctly from my dad's '15)

I seem to recall seeing the "Theme" option but I wasn't able to select any themes on my 16. After the Android update, the "theme" option is gone - doesn't even display it now.

Weird because my dads does. I borrowed his '15 HC for 50 days while I waited for my '16 to be built and I changed his theme. When I returned it was the first thing he noticed. I offered to change it back to the default but he said "no it was fine". I wonder if maybe it is only on the High Country Trim package or something?
