Thought of an exhaust. Built it in my head. Did a Lil research. Bought a borla and xr1 muffler. Corsa look alike tips and mandrel bent tubing.. yes I still have my 3rd cat. And yes i have my valve.. check out my other videos to hear more. I made a video of me crawling under the truck to show what I have

How do I check your other videos haha

Muffler delete. Did it to my 6.2 and haven't looked back. Sure maybe a corsa would sound a bit sportier...but for $50 vs. Over 1k...nah.

Skip to .54 for sound. During normal driving, hardly hear it, but when you get on it, it emits just enough of the right sounds.

This is me... not being cocky but for the 2014-up gm trucks this sounds amazing. I've since have clamped open my valve. And sound is way better. But invisible helicopter follows me

Which XR1 did you buy: oval or round? And what size?

Which will have a deeper rumble with the 6.2: Borla Sportsman/Touring, Borla XR1 or the Magnaflow 14"

I know that it's youtube.. but for just having an intake and my own version of a catback.. I think mine sounds amazing. I get tons of complimentstuff from poeple. But I've thought of an another idea and I'm going to make it sound a littler louder. And no I'm not touching any of the cats.. stay tunned

I went with a Magnaflow 12909 muffler only and paired it with AFE Momentum CAI for my 15' 6.2 suv Denali. Left the flap and resonator in place. Removing the resonator may create drone. The sound is awesome and very happy with the setup. I am going to delete the flap as it is 3" diameter vs 3.5" on all the OEM exhaust piping.

I was looking at Corsa and Borla but for the SUV they are 3" tubing (Borla has 3" to 2.5" on muffler) vs 3.5" factory. Doesn't make sense to go with a smaller 3" tubing (SUV). I'll stick with the bigger tubing and the 12909 is 3.5" .

$140 for the muffler fron Norcal SS and 120 installed at the local muffler shop.

Here you go. I love how mine sounds. Sounds like a big block truck not an import euro sedan.

I just ordered a Gibson metal mulisha for my 6.2 mainly due the price. I didn't want to hack my factory exhaust up too much incase I want to put it back on down the road. I'll probably just put a different tip on the Gibson not a big fan of the one it comes with.

Since my last post I have tossed the MBRP in the trash can and replaced it with a Borla ATAK with duals under the rear bumper. It sounds pretty healthy..... I am very happy with it. It's along the lines of Silver Ice's truck but I would say it's likely louder... which I am okay with. Very quiet in the truck which was quite noticeable going from the MBRP to this... for cruising it's a lot closer to stock.

As for the GM Borla Trucks & SUV's, the twin 2.25" outlets will preform just fine, think velocity!

GM's Borla with bypass tube & 3" flapper valve and twin 2.25's will out flow your system, I have no drone on my truck with GM Borla. Additionally you didn't mention your welds will rust, factory exhaust is aluminized steel to reduce rusting/corrosion , muffler shop just used standard mild steel on your welds its going to rust long before your factory exhaust would have.

until you remove the 3" flapper there was no point other than sound.
