Hey all. I recently just put on bushwhacker fender flares and 2" wheel spacers on my 2009 Sierra 1500 Z71. My tire size is 265/70/17. (These are not brand new so in worried when I replace them it's only going to get worse). I have been having some rubbing issues on the bottom of the flares as well as on the plastic inner liner of the wheel well. This only happens at full lock out on either direction and during terrain transition. I also heard some rubbing when I put it in 4wd.

I am wondering if there is any other tricks besides trimming the plastic wheel well liner to stop the rubbing? Has anyone had any luck with putting a leveling kit on to prevent his from happening?

Why would you put 2" wheel spacers on? The problem with the rub is the spacers as it is pushing your wheel out 2" farther ( changing the pivot point ) out from hub making it swing out farther when turning your front wheels left to right. Take the spacers off and I bet it wont rub.

Running 2" spacers on the front is putting ALOT of leverage on your bearings, your asking for front end problems trust me I have heard and seen horror story's from running spacer of that size in the front.
