having had the truck for amonth or so now I really hate the intellilink thing. its as bad as texting. nothing can be don'e by touch . you need to look at it.

that's not even rest of the making it work pat...

Man your post is hard to read with all the misspelled words and weird punctuation. If you don't like all the new technology in your truck then you always have the option of selling your truck and buying an early 80's truck with a carb (and 130 hp).

Some people, like me, want to have a new truck with warranty and no previous owner.

And when you want to have a certain option for the truck, you end up paying for stuff you don't want. Because it comes in a package.

Many things that can be done on the Intellilink screen can be done in the DIC area using the steering wheel paddles. Take the time to learn your truck and you'll enjoy it much more.

Wow the things people will complain about. Don't like all the do dads and want a stripped down truck, order one from the dealer that has what you want on it. I'm glad we live in a country that we can complain about having the option of buying nice things.

Yeah the unfortunate part is having to deal with people like you...but I would still take it any day then living in a day having to decide on what color horse to pull the wagon.

Please, let us all stay civil. We are a melting pot and everyone has the right to their opinion.

I also did not want a vibrating seat so I didn't buy one.. I didn't want a black truck again because that is what I traded in.. and certainly NO MORE leather seats without heaters. But I certainly won't criticize you for your gadgets or choice of color.

I just don't want this forum to turn into something I have seen on other forums...

Reminds me of someone who I once respected and knew as a fellow Patriot Guard riders... He called me a few nasty names because I ask him not to be a cry baby and complain about the dangers of cut grass blown onto the roadway. As a rider if you are not prepared for what lay ahead on the road you are not a true rider.

JMO. Peace out! :flag:

Work truck trim doesn't have that much tech. But better get used to it because you are definitely in a very small minority because most people love tech.

My old Ram Laramie had more tech than this SLT, Denalis are fairly loaded up,. The new Fords have massaging seats and 360 degree cameras full glass roofs etc.

I love the tech, but the downside is no one will want to keep one out of warranty. 300.00 each mag ride shocks and 4-500.00 LED headlamp/taillamp assemblies, direct injection, 8 speed transmissions, rain sensing wipers, hard to swap out stock radios etc. Its all cool when its new though :)

As Steve said plenty of single cab long bed work trucks for people to buy. Or you can buy a horse to tow your stuff. If you don't want it stop buying it
