Will it Rust? Any advice

So the other day I was loading up some stuff in the bed of the truck to take to a friends house. During that process, I almost took my back window out and dented the back wall. It's a small deep scratch, concerned about it rusting. I'm not sure what I can do to prevent it becoming a bigger problem in the future.

Any advice would be helpful and appreciated.

Did you get the little bottle of touch-up paint? I'd hit it with that if it was my truck. probly not worth the price to repair.

I would inquire with a dent repair or auto collision repair place for the most cost effective repair. I like to get dents and/or scratches repaired right away. This prevents future issues and maximizes the value of your truck!

Ouch! Along that crease would make a difficult repair I think. If you want to just avoid any more issues (rust, etc) I would make sure any loose paint it removed then hit it with some touch up paint. You might take it to a body shop see what they say though.

Go get your cab corner painted. It's not a big deal to repair. Stud welder and a few pulls it will come right out. Should be fairly cheap to do. We would charge a 300-400$ to do it.
