Windshield clean - REALLY clean!

I cleaned my windshield with Bon Ami (the RED colored can with 1886 on it / the original product - DO NOT use the gold colored can from the grocery store - try Ace Hardware for the RED can for $1.59) and then I clay barred it - just because I felt like doing so. After drying the windshield good, I applied RejeX sealant. What a clean and slick windshield - works as good or better than Rain-X during rains and last a long time. Now just need to hit some bugs at 60mph and see if they slide off - maybe need a love-bug testing!

Did I read that right, clay bar on the windshield? Never thought to try that. Guess I'll need a clay bar

There are even polishing pads just for windshields.

I used the method he uses in the video and it works great.

We used to buff windows in cars that got detailed, just got to keep the buffer moving as too much heat it one spot can cause issues.

I've used RainX Extreme Clean and had good results...

Yeah, I first started watching his video's when I joined a forum for my Trailblazer and he was on there posting some videos.

Yeah he does. I'll check out that link you have as well, always looking for new ideas on doing things.

Some windshields have an anti-laceration polymer coating. You may want to check in an inconspicuous area before going nuts all over with the scouring powder.
