I have a 2016 Sierra 1500 SLE.

 

Can I replace my side mirrors with the 2016 Silverado High Country mirrors? Is it a simple plug and play to have the mirror signals light up?

What you have are DL8 Mirrors. The mirrors you are looking for are DL3 Mirrors. You can also have the power Folding option as well.

Quick answers:

 

Yes you can put them on.

No they are not plug and play.

See pgamboa above for help. There are 3 or 4 (long!) threads on here covering this retrofit but pgamboa has spent a lot of time figuring out all the different harness combinations.

 

Even with his help I don't think the reverse-tilt works. For that you need to have the BCM flashed by a dealer (which most won't do).
