2016 Chevy 2500HD headlights

I looked all over this site, but found nothing on this subject already. I can't get over how all of these car and truck manufacturers offering LED bars on their headlights, but Chevy would not offer them on these HD trucks. The 1500's have them but not the HD's. I looked into aftermarket ones which they are out there, but the ones I find do not have the best reviews. I can't find a reliable manufacturer that makes a good quality headlight so far..... Does anyone make a good quality aftermarket one to replace the stock ones? Obviously the GMC ones are a different shape, and they are LED's. Anyone know if there is any hope that Chevy will come out with a LED version of these for the 2017 or later models? I already called my dealer talking to the parts department. They were no help at all, the body shop knew for sure the GMC's were different in size, and then left a message for sales to call me back for any info they could give on this subject. Starting to wish I had bought a GMC now.

Could always get them retrofitted. It's usually not cheap, but if you go through a reputable retrofitter they'll perform great.

Xenon Depot replacement LED bulbs or you can preorder the new VLEDS ones that fit behind dust covers. You have to order the H11 for Silverado though if you go with those.

Really dont get the issue with the stock headlights? They are plenty bright? And thats what high beams are for. Honestly I cant stand the illegal HID bulbs. Drive me crazy with on coming traffic.. If you need more light when not around traffic install a light bar?

IMHO, the lighting on older trucks of all brands was better before the LED's and trim and appearance oriented lights.

I like the fact that Chevy hasn't followed the crowd with the led strips. I think it's a fad that will go away before long anyway. I also like the square wheel wells I think they help with the chiseled look that GM has. If I really had to have led's and round wheel wells I would have bought a stupid looking Ford! :)

I just want headlights that create light lol. The LED strips look great but they aren't good at the thing that they're supposed to be good at.

My 2012 HD had light for ever down the road and all I did was put Silverstar bulbs in them. Then when you turn the high beams on, it was like daytime!! They worked for what they were intended for, not just looking pretty.

you can get an H9 65W bulb and modify it to fit the H11 socket.. Much brighter

I have xenon H11 bulbs that are 5500k and they are better. You can put in 35 w HID with the resistor -error correction and they will work and be brighter.

LED lights then tint them. Why? See it all the time. Can't figure it out. Someone splain?

bc people want blacked out lights, but are too lazy, cheap, and/or afraid to disassemble the headlight housing to remove any amber markers/reflectors
