tuner reads and clears codes, has tunes, disables afm. I got mine used for 270, no brainer in my book

Search the forum for much more info. I have the Range on 2017 Yukon Denali - works great as a single purpose device. Tunes are great too since they can do so much more but if you're worried about warranty, you have to go through a removal process to remove the tune before taking in for service then reinstall. With the Range removal just involves unplug from OBD port and reverse the process when you're ready for it again.

Even if you remove the tune and return it back to stop a dealership can still see the history and see you had a tune. I wouldn't worry about warranty anyways since they would have to prove that whatever you did was what caused the issue.

Tuner can be detected by the dealer if they look hard enough. If you have a hard part engine failure GM will pull the Ecu history and deny your claim when they see it.

Range leaves no trace as it's temporary and doesn't rewrite software. Cons are slim, some say it drains their battery. I've left mine for weeks, so it might be they had bad batteries to begin with. 2017s seem to have check engine lights popping up on them. Oh and your mileage will drop slightly/obviously.

Yeah, mine was like that for a little over a week. Then I got the reduced steering assist message that seems to pop up on the '17s even with the latest firmware.

I had to bring mine in to clear the message, no CEL, just a message in the console. No difference in steering, just annoying message....

You jinxed me, mine tripped the reduced steering today.

My bad, lol..

Yeah, my work papers stated there were codes in all the modules when they scanned it.. What ever that means :D .. And Range Tech from what I understand is aware of this issue on '17 models.... No fix yet... I'm sure this is due to the modules flooding the bus to stop AFM from kicking in...

Thanks for all the info. Is the hypertech system good?
