So I have a 1995 Chevy K1500 single cab short box with a 305. I heard that the 95 is a standalone year for that trans. And my motor just blew up. Does anyone know if my trans will work with a 350 swap from a different year truck? Need to know ASAP. Thank you so much!

You have a 4l60e trans, a 350 will bolt up.

The 4l60e trans started in 1993 to the present. In 1994 the 4l60e was installed for RWD passenger cars. In 1996, a bolt-on bell housing was phased in (along with a six-bolt tail housing). Nothing special about your trans.

The 305 and the 350 motors are nearly twin sisters. Not knowing the year of the 350 your going to use, the best thing I can tell you is, ....at least part swap items off the 305 and put them on the 350 when you run into parts that are not the same, like intake, exhaust manifolds, front pulleys, brackets, sensors etc.
