Continuous Illumination of Reverse Sensor Button

I need some help! I have a 2008 Chevy Avalanche. I’m having a problem with the back up sensors or park assist. For the past two months when i get in and start the truck, the display on my dash keeps telling me that the park assist is off, but I didn't turn it off. The light will be lit up on the button continuously. Upon pressing the button it will flash at me and remain turned on. I purchased a new ‘Combo Switch (GM part #22778094)’, and installed it, thinking that the button was the problem. However, after replacing the Combo Switch, the light illuminating the reverse sensor, remained on, indicating that my reverse sensors were not operable. I have placed my truck in reverse and checked my sensors and I hear no noise emulating from them, i.e., ticking or something of that nature. I hear absolutely nothing! So how do I continue to troubleshoot the problem? Is there a possibility that: 1) all of my sensors are inoperable OR 2) when one sensor is inoperable, does that make all of them inoperable? if one sensor fails then system doesnt work need to get a scan tool or someone to scan it
