Recent late fall/ early winter photo.

Last update was 100,4** miles.

Pinion seal, Starter plastic bellhousing cover replaced. About $20 in parts. Only money spent over ROUTINE maintenance on this unit. Can we call it reliable yet?

Still on the OEM brakes with many miles left in them. Tires replaced at 125,000 miles when they dated out. Had a year or better tread left in them. Everything works. Nothing is rotting or rusting away. Uses no oil. AFM active. No catch can. Have a few rock chips to repair and scuff in the front bumper needs some attention. Interior flawless. Needs a spring cleaning bumper to bumper. Maybe I toss a tune up at her when it warms a bit.

2014 Sierra 1500. 213K miles.  Had ac just before 100K, Vacuum pump replaced before recall, got $ back.  Had new transmission around 175K (ouch).  Tires and brakes as needed. replaced plugs, wires and ignition coils around 200k after one coil caused some misfires.  wondering what new engine might cost @300K.   still feels like a new truck.  Might put new belts on it next year.  Oh yeah, a new battery a couple years ago. So not zero problems.

Nothing major yet. She is starting to suffer Lingchi. Ozone attack of plastics and rubber. Rock chips that are becoming increasingly more difficult to keep up with. Weathering of the windshield. Hits of a million of bugs and their removal. Not a bubble baby. No rust or body damage. Still plenty to work with and fight for.

Neither of which may classify as "high miles," but.....

Bought my 2015 in December 12, 2015.  When it was totaled on July 1, 2018, it had 53,******.  Only serious maintenance was tires and new front brake pads (at 50K).

Bought my 2018 in September 15, 2018, 21,400ish as of today, 16 months of ownership.

About a month ago, I hit 61,000.  With gas prices going over $5/gal again, I'm not driving it as often/much.

I have a 2014 CC Standard Bed 4x4  5.3 v8 Currently 184K

I lost AC condenser/transmission cooler around 100k.

Had an alignment done after a level was installed around 110k

Factory battery was replaced also around 125K.

I replaced all brake pads and rotors at 175k as I had developed a bit of brake shudder in heavy braking.

Been running slightly larger than stock tires on stock wheels since about 80K

Change oil every 7k 0-20 Edge. Fram Filter.

Other than that I'm averaging 18.6 mpg mixed higwhay/2 lane/city driving.

Wait...184K without Amsoil? Impossible!!

Well we finally made it. Got home late last night with 502000 on our 2018 5.3 e assist. Had the 3rd brake job at around d 470000. New front wheel bearings and compleat exhaust system. The clunk between 1st and 2nd is more pronounced now. Got another cross  country trip after memorial day. Still averaging  22.7 mpg. Going to think hard on a new truck. They want to try for 750000 told them iam getting to old for this at 77years old.
