Does anyone have the TSB number?  I'm getting a shutter around the 50 mph mark, plus or minus 10 mph.

16-NA-175  they updated the service bulletin in October. It says they will come out with a fix first quarter 2019. They flushed my transmission and replaced the fluid 12/2018. Fixed my shudder.

Just picked up a 17 High Country, 6.2 and this is a good read.  Toyota has the same problem with the Tundra pickup.  My friend has gone back a couple of times and a flush solved the issue for 8 mo., now it's back.  Seems to happen more when below 15-20 miles.  We are not alone........

Sign me up. 2018.........4k miles on it.    -7 degrees this morning and I could not drive 45-55 mph. It would shudder/shake pretty serious. I ran it up to 60 and it would clear out, but, I backed it down  to under 45 and kept it slow instead.   My tachometer was not fluctuating though.  I almost thought it was trying to do it once last week at -10 obe morning, but I had to slow right down for traffic and it went away and/or I forgot about it.

There is a new TSB out that just came out here in January 2019.  GM got with Mobil and they developed a new transmission fluid that is supposed to solve this issue.  I'm sure it will take a little time to get the fluid to all the dealerships.  But looks like a complete change out of fluid with the new fluid is the fix for the shudder.  I would say contact your local dealer for more information.

Had this issue.  Took to dealer on Monday and they replaced the transmission fluid per TSB.  Only 3 days but the problem is not present anymore.

Anybody else have further issues on this? I have a 2018 1500 5.3l 8-speed. I have never had the higher speed shutter (50-60 mph), but more of a jerking motion when the truck is almost coming to a stop but barely rolling forward. It also tends to have a solid clunk even when lightly applying the throttle after coasting for a few seconds at city speeds. I got the newest full syntheic ATF put in a couple weeks ago, and no change. I have the E-assist model (which I'm annoyed by the start/stop feature), but not sure if that changes anything. Has anybody had similar behavior? Maybe had the torque converter replaced? Maybe a 2019 transmission or torque converter installed being that they redesigned it for 2019? Taking it into the dealer again next week and they are going to try and diagnose further and compare it to other trucks. My dealer in Watsonville, CA has actually been working with me very well on this issue. Any input?

Has anyone with a truck out of bumper to bumper warranty taken advantage of this falling under the powertrain warranty, which tends to last longer?
