In New Jersey we did drive ins regularly. Whenever a new Elvis movie came out. Dad would load us up. The last drive movie we did in NewJersey was the Exorcist, that was brutal. I watched that one with my wife. She wasn’t pleased.

I went to the Drive in to watch "Up in Smoke" about a dozen times before I saw the movie.

Used to go during the week to avoid crowds, then park in the middle so I could use 2 speakers. Got caught trying to sneak in the exit, beer was involved.

Sad they are gone now.
