Xpel Kits

For anyone looking Xepel has released film kits for the 2019’s (new body). Nothing for the grill, but they do have kits for the hood, fenders, mirrors and bumper.

I assume this is critical for those with painted bumpers.  This would be precut kits?

Absolutely, the painted bumpers don’t last long in PA. There are guys out there that can bulk cut, but yeah the kits that were released are precut kits.

Do guys apply this themselves? I can imagine that’d be much cheaper than a ship but I just don’t know enough about the product.

the film comes in a big roll. The installer I’m using has a plotter that cuts the pattern he gets from Xpel. He is charging me the same amount to install as it would cost a person to buy a precut kit.

My installer does the same thing - cuts his own with the plotter.  Came out great!  Looks good.
