Got to follow this thread.  I'll probably have an HC or Denali in my garage soon and after first tinting the windows, those gawky power side steps will have to be changed out to some AMP steps.  They just look to big under the truck and they don't come down like the AMP steps to actually help (my short wife and 6 yr old) step up into a truck.  Plus I like how the AMP steps tuck up mostly out of sight under the truck.

Yours looks good by the way!

On a side note, if the factory power steps are removed, do you think we can use the power to them to power the AMP steps?  (I'm sure the AMP Step directions will tell us too)

Got a white one. My black 14’ gets dirty easily so went with the white z71. I have amp research steps and would like the same for the z71

Can you give a real world review of the truck? Does it experience the Chevy shake between 70 and 80 mph?

Good question.. hopefully the Chevy Shake of the K2 that some folks experience is a thing of the past.

My 14 had it, not 16 and definitely not my 18. Definitely a thing of the past.

There is nothing about the 2019's on Amp's website (part number 76154-01A in your order is for the 2014-2018 crew cabs).  I don't know if they will fit the 2019's or not but I would definitely get confirmation first.

Make sure that if your truck is supposed to have side steps, that the dealer doesn't charge you extra for them.

I bought my truck last week, 2019 High Country, and the dealer tried to charge me almost 2K extra for side steps and the spray-in bedliner, as "dealer installed options". I said hell no! The truck comes with that. It's on the invoice/window sticker.

This is my 2019 Silverado RST  I found some Black powder coated running boards for it. Nerf Bars

Had a 2015 Silverado and it looks like the running boards would have bolted right on the 2019.

Dealer wanted 860.00 to install their running boards i said no thank you.

I'll post a picture of the running boards when i get them installed

I took off my factory steps and put these on.  I really like them.

Any pics of nerf steps or amp steps? I’m trying to decide on one or the other.
