2017 Sierra 5.3 L83 Texas Speed stage 4 cam

Has anyone ever ran their stage 4 cam in a 5.3? I talked to texas speed and they recommended this to me for more power but when I talked to a sales guy at Brian Tooley Racing they claim that this cam will not have enough piston to valve clearance. 

 

Has anybody had problems with Texas speed in the past? Who is a more reputable company? Thanks in advance!

Honestly I’d be a little skeptical of a shop who slams another shop that been around for over 20 years but that’s just me.

I ended up going with Texas Speed for that reason. They were trying to sell their product using facts and numbers instead of telling me that so and so’s was no good
