While that isn't my first choice; eight foot bed that is, it does come, or did, with the larger fuel tank. Perhaps that is still true? The K2XX is 26 gallon on the RCSB and about 36 gallons for the long bed. Given my mileage that would be some range, eh?

With my bladder being as old as dirt...and your frugal use of fossil fuels, I would hate to road trip with you :D What's that I hear? Sounds like your mirror is about to fall off Grumpy! We NEED to stop NOW and check it out...yeah, yeah that rest stop right there is good

I'm with ya.  I had an 04 HD ext cab long box at 128L.  Went to a 2010 6.5' HD and it only had a 98L.

The aggravation was one of the reasons I only kept it a year.  Since 2011, all HD's have the 136L,  36 gal tank

For the 2019 1500's

Short and standard beds have 24gal (91L) and longbox has 28 gal (106L)

I later tried 1500's, but in the end tank size (in particular, range when towing) was one of the reasons I went back to a HD as they still  all have 36 gal (136L) fuel tanks.

Curious to see what they put in the new HD's.

You are correct. 34 gallon not 36 gallon. My apologies and thank you for the kindness of the correction.

Would have left me 58 miles short of Denver.  Long walk, eh?

Thank goodness for my wife since retiring. Her best time is about 1-1/2 hours on a trip. I got use to being able to drink coffee and lately stretching my legs. I’d look pretty foolish stumbling around if I sat any longer. My average mph went from 68 to 50 for a daily driving average now. And that’s at a normal 72 mph highway speeds. 450-500 miles.

Twenty years ago I made Denver from this area in a day. Two years ago I made Denver in two days, 500-ish a day. I think three days the next time is abought right.

Knew it was going to be. They have lots of loaded single cabs over there.

That's just cruel.

That's a nice looking truck!  I personally do not care if Chevy offers a RCSB or not, but that Sierra is a looker.  I would buy one even if it only came with the 4.3L or turbo 4.

Looks like the regular cab has some more room behind the driver now . .?
