Looks like they have a down pipe with high flow cat coming out soon. Curious how this intake performs. Pics and videos please.

When is this engine going to be available in the Tahoe/Suburban platform? Or will it ever?

For those who have had the 2.7 for the past several years, how’s it holding up? Better mpg?

As well, does it come with a g80 locker, was thinking 4x2 crew cab but my only concern is traction in snow. Not for off-roading.  I know tires and weight make a difference. Thanks

As for the mpg, I have 5000 on mine and am averaging 23.1.

As for traction, it has plenty of power to spin the rear easily. Much more so than the 16 silverado I had with the 4.3.

Almost 4,000 miles on mine  (4 x4) and  last tank 26 mpg on highway (driving 55)   22-23 around town

They've only been around for 2 model years so I don't think you'll find many people that have put 30-40k miles on them. I got mine a month before this COVID bullshit so I'm getting tremendous mileage. 1-2 weeks to a gallon probably. [emoji23]

Get the diesel you won’t regret it and it comes standard with the 10 speed.

$3800 it’s a bargain. Includes the 10 speed.

I am thinking of trading in my 2015 1500 Silverado LT 4.3  for  the  2.7, but after researching the mpg I am hesitant, my 4.3  constantly gets 22 to 23 mpg ( rural driving )  and have had up to 25 mpg driving 75 mph in the mountains of Colorado. So the gain in mpg of one truck over the other isn't much.

Wondering what other's opinions might be on my thinking, a new 2019 or 2020 with 2.7 would be close to 12,000 and my trade in. Factory discounts aren't as much as back in the winter on this set up,

I think you are missing the additional all - star discount you get with the 2.7, again at lest $5k more.  When I bought mine, (11/19) I got about 30% off the MSRP  as they were  almost giving the 2.7 away.
