To your  lifted truck?

I saw this this morning

I'm not into the stretched tire look. Yuck.

Plenty of room there for something a little taller and narrower.

Just my opinion though I'm sure the younger murdered out guys like it and that's cool.

BTW the paint on that truck was super swirly from washing all the dirt off it that the tires throw all over the sides of the truck. It was a 16 -18.

Not my cup of tea either. I'm getting a lift out tomorrow and I want the wheels to stick out about 1 or 2 inches out from the wheels but not like that. It seems impractical for driving.

The strain on the axles and other components goes beyond the compromised looks!  If he or she only new that his/her efforts to make a tougher looking truck has produced a weaker version than stock!

And 2 inches outside the fenders isn't impractical? That is nearly the same as that guy. Need to budget for wheel bearing changes as well...

Well it's a BDS suspension lift and the knuckle moves the wheel out by about 1.5 to 2 inches. I don't really have much of a choice.

Is that in Mexico?!

Who knows why people do what they do... I know it’s hard to even look at.

Prob doesn’t care and just threw a bunch of random Craigslist parts on it.

I like my offsets to make the wheel & tire flush with the sidewall.

I have been asking for years why a person buying a set of wheels and tires would not buy tires that actually fit the wheels properly.  I haven't gotten my answer yet.  I agree with the OP....this looks like hammered ass and I see it more and more.

I find it even more funny when I see a lifted truck with a 10" drop trailer hitch. They may actually tow once in a while, but it's like as if they're trying to make a point.

Lowered trucks hurt my soul worse.

No suspension travel and they lose the ability to even cross over a speedbump.

My beltec lowered 92 Chevy handles like a sports car, hauls like a 1/2 ton. There’s different types of lowering as well as lifting.

If everyone was the same, the world would be a boring place and we wouldn't learn anything.

Would I do it personally, no, but we can all agree in good sense that it looks goofy.  :D

Mines stick out alittle bit but I love the way my truck looks don’t give a F*#€ what anybody says, everybody gonna have their own opinion so it doesn’t even matter aslong as you like what you have. To be honest I don’t like when the wheels are all tucked inside especially when u have a lift looks kinda dumb, idk sometime it just depends on the wheels u have.

I'm a practical guy.

Why allow your tires to throw stuff on the sides of your truck?

More prone to chips etc.

But I agree, to each their own.

I actually like the way it looks beefier ?, what the difference in driving behind somebody in traffic or next to somebody it’s a truck not a Lamborghini not like I’m going mudding or off-roading.
