I have a 2018 that's supercharged and it is now only doing 1 wheel peels been thinking about putting in a full locker rear diff anyone done this

my 2014 was one wheel peel when i bought it. my brother had the same truck with the rpo code for the G80 , i used his vin and ordered the G80 carrier and installed it myself. the carrier was 600 cdn dollars at that time

The G80 in my 2017 will spin both wheels up to about 20 or 25 mph. Then disengage. Then only the passenger side will pull.

Confusing post when read with the title.  Perhaps this will help.

Unless something has changed a mini spool allows no slip at all. Wouldn’t be very pleasant for a daily driver.

Exactly. A spool isn't a differential as all.

I really didn't even know the G80 wasn't something they stuck on all the K2s. Even the WTs have them here in Central Florida. It seems to be a standard RPO here.

i couldnt believe it either, 2014 lt 4x4 with lt1 option package. the first time i stuck in mud i couldnt understand why both wheel werent spinning. i took it back to the dealer only to tell me it didnt have the G80 option
