ApertureX Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 Retrax will be releasing the Pro MX in late Aug/Sept. List Price $1829.00: https://retrax.com/retraxpro-mx/2020/gmc/sierra-3500-hd
redwngr Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 They also have a poly slat version. I've been happy with the poly one on my 2018. https://retrax.com/retraxone-mx/2020/gmc/sierra-3500-hd It's cheaper than the aluminum one. Priced at $1299. I like that they can be locked part way open if needed, and that the tailgate can be closed without lifting the top first. Especially on a tall truck, it is easier to 'walk' the cover open from the ground than it was to flip open the sections of the flip open style I used before. When carrying something that requires the cover to be open, it does not block the view through the rear window. Downside is that the rolled up cover takes some space inside the bed and prevents tall items from being pushed against front wall of bed.
powerhaulic Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 TruXedo also has several ready to go. Including the Pro X15, which I believe will be my choice.
newdude Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 GM is off to a slow start at the moment. They only list the soft roll up cover. 844228331.

WhitProcter Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Confirmed with Retrax that the Powertraxone MX will be available for sale Aug. 15, 2019. https://retrax.com/powertraxone-mx/2020/gmc/sierra-2500-hd
brclark82 Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 I have had the Retrax Pro on my previous 2 trucks but honestly can’t remember why I chose that over the Retrax One. I know the Pro is aluminum and the One is polycarbonate but what benefits am I getting paying extra for the aluminum? There website doesn’t list many advantages that I can find.

I went with the pro and am pretty pleased with it but can't say i would have been disappointed with the cheaper model. https://realtruck.com/blog/retraxone-vs-retraxpro-comparison/ Edited August 15, 2019 by jjackkrash

I don't walk on it or carry stuff on it. I was a little concerned about what the aluminum version would look light if it got scratched. For my use, didn't think paying 50% more made sense. I do like the appearance of the wider slats on the aluminium version.
ApertureX Posted August 16, 2019 Author Posted August 16, 2019 Got this in my email from Truck Covers USA:
