Looks good!  What film did you use?  Did you remove the lens?  Going to do this mod on my white GMC 2500

Did not remove the light just used a small plastic scraper and electronics heat gun. Be careful with the heat, the tint will blister if you get carried away.

Haven't touched mine as of yet, hasn't really bothered me much.  I do like it at night because going down the road or backing up it gives you a great indicator of where your truck is.

Very nice! Also: Where did you get painted flares?  We just got our Pacific Blue 2500HD AT4. I like this tint mod.

Thank you!

I ordered them through a local Chevrolet dealer.  They're a GMC part that you can find on accessories.gmc.com.

But...they currently don't offer every color, and I can't recall if the Pacific Blue is available or not.  They do offer a primer version, but then you'd have to get them painted.  Not that doing so would be hard, but it would be an added expense.

I have to assume that each color will be offered, at least the colors that are also available in the Denali trim.  But that's just my guess.

Tinted mine last week when I installed the 295/65-20's.

Vivid tint, easy application, just follow directions.

Off topic here but are you lifted with the 295/65/20’s? And if not.... do you have any rubbing?

What I have found about the roof marker lights, is that they aren't normally on the trucks with California emissions. I don't quite get the relation, but a quick search of trucks on lots on Cali vs other states pretty much proves it. Can a buyer order a GMC with the California emissions, but it's actually going to a dealer in another state?

Not sure if these are painted or if they sell a piece you can put in place of the light if you don't like it.67cff7d3311983bb73754107ea53d2f7.jpg

How has the tint held up for you all?  Just finding this and thinking about it, and curious on the long term since most of you have had it done for a year or so now.
