If you’re talking about the tick that sounds kind of like a clock, then my 19 has that too. I haven’t figured out where it is coming from yet either and am curious what others have to say.

+2 on this.

The K2 trucks have this warm up tick also.

Ok. Thanks everyone, I'm still going to take it to the dealership just to make sure . I'll let everyone know what they tell me .

So just wondering a friend of mine has the exact truck but a 17 or 18 and a co worker has a 19 trailboss ,would they to have the similar ticking noise ?

My 2019 with about 7k miles does it as well. Doesn't matter if the engine is hot or cold. If it still does it around 15k miles, I'll probably mention it to the dealer.

2017 5.3l also does it no matter the temp of my block. I have wondered if it my be the vac pump as that's where I hear most of the sound. This is my first Ecotec3 so I'm unfamiliar.

All of these trucks tick, click, and kinda sound like a sewing machine. Totally normal with direct injection. It does take some getting used to, especially in the drive thru, with the window down and all the noise bouncing off the wall at ya! They sound like a real junker! ?

Its the fuel pump and is 100 % normal under certain operating temps . 2016 with 120k and no issues here .

I really cant see it being a normal sound , like I mentioned earlier I have   a friend of mine has the exact truck but a 17 or 18 and a co worker has a 19 trailboss andvtheres dont make that noise

2019 SLT 5.3 same thing. Clicks and clicks till the cows come home, regardless of the engine temperature. It’s really noticeable when I remote start the truck in the garage before I head out. The sound is amplified and as someone above mentioned makes it sound like a junker! I’m curious if anyone here has taken the truck in for this reason? I’m close to doing it just in case.
