2020 Yukon New Grille Design?

Earlier today I happened to see a GMC Yukon at the local dealership today which I believed was a 2020 model.  It had a brand new grille design that I had not seen previously.  I'm not sure if this is only for the SLT trim or if it's for both SLE and SLT?  Sitting right beside it were two Yukons with the grilles that I had been accustomed to seeing from 2015-2019.  Who knows, they could have been 2019s although unlikely as it looked like they were new deliveries.

That’s a SLT Ultimate grill. It’s a package, or an accessory grill. My *favorite* trim is the SLT ultimate in the Pearl White with the tan interior. Mmmmmmmm [emoji1786]

Interesting.  I have NOT seen the SLT Ultimate out on the road or for sale online until I started searching.  Was this a package offered throughout the full 5 year run?  What else does the SLT Ultimate package add in comparison to SLT or Denali?

No it started in 17? I think. They got shipped to the dealer with a regular grill and we had to install the special one you see there, at some points we had an entire dumpster full of grills because GM.
All it adds is 22” wheels, chrome exhaust tip and the grill. It was like 4K away from being a Denali so price wise it was kind of stupid, however I can’t *wait* until they get a few years on them and I can get one second hand

Sounds like typical corporate nature.  Make cuts here but throw grilles in trash.  I wouldn't have minded getting my phalanges on a free grille to make modifications upon without feeling bad about it

Still haven't seen one anywhere else besides the Yukon at the dealer last week.  First time.
