X2   curious as well.  I've been searching all over the internet and could not find anything.  My truck has a TPW of 4/20.   I'm 5 weeks after you.  Probably looking at June now.

Mine is TPW 4/20 and last I’ve heard GM is not announcing a restart date any time soon. Ford and Ram are restarting limited production next week I believe.

Ford and GM are still on indefinite close status and FCA said May 4.  I don't see any plants opening before first week of May in Michigan.

GM said it continues to evaluate restarting its facilities when it is safe to do so.

Michigan's stay at home order extended to April 30.  Best case opening will be around May 4.  It takes an day or two to get body and paint shop running after cold shutdown.

Was at dealership yesterday and talked with general manager.  He said they were on call earlier this week with GM and estimates are mid June before Flint, MI get back to manufacturing trucks.  There will also be supply channels that will have to be primed and back filled to get parts back to the factory.   In the end, he was told to not expect any new vehicles until mid/late July or possibly August if things lag in how the current  C-19 tracking goes.  Depending on features ordered and supply line challenges, it could be longer for some orders.  His thoughts were about July/August 2021 to get his dealership inventory back up to where it should be.  Tough Times!!!!!!

I found this forum looking for information so I joined! I also was TPW 3/16 so I feel your pain. I got a VIN on 3/20 from the GM chat, but now they say I am in 3400 with no VIN. No real idea if it got built or not, and no new information since then. I guess we will all sit, wait, and hope all this stuff gets under control so we can get back to working.

Did you ask the dealership if they would offer any kind of deal with using a truck in the meantime if you need a truck? I can’t go fishing without a truck to pull it. My build week was 03/23 so I’m just thinking positive as of now. Hopefully Flint starts in May.

But by then they will likely be 2021 models and no more 2020 models.  Existing orders would be cancelled.  Just a hunch

I wouldnt think they would cancel already tpw builds they may turn into 21s but to just remove them I don't think so

My original build was 4/20 like I said. The dealership and GM customer service said if GM reopens in May then I will be slotted for mid/late July (I don’t remember the date).
They actually started to back out of my trade deal, then they shut down so I could not buy through them or change my order.
I went to another dealership who offered me a great deal on a Sierra instead of my Silverado and let me drive my truck as a free no fault rental until they finished adding some options to the Sierra.
