Today I went and bought myself a digital camera, finally got it done instead of just talking about it.  I saw an ad for a good one at a good price, $200.  Why am I apologizing for this you ask?  Well, you can now expect me posting many more pictures than I am now, almost to the Chevy4x4trucks extent.  I've already been playing around quite a bit with it.

An Olympia D-380.  From what I can tell it'll do everything I want to, and you can even take movies with it, amazing.  Most likely old news to most of you, but I'm having a good ol time with it.

I believe you have me mistaken for Tom :(

But, Olympus makes great cameras, I just got mine about 3 months ago and couldn't be happier w/ it.  Congrats on the purchase :(

You're forgiven JP. ;)

Is the digital camera process faster than the process of a conventional Film Camera? (Pardon the stupidity of the question, I don't really know much about the digital camera scene.)

yes.  very quick.  just plug it in to your computer.  most have auto focus as well and can be shown on TV screens vs. having to make slides.  i might get one someday, but right now i have no need to buy one.

That picture looks blurry to me.....I hope it's just your focusing skills :(

That was about the third picture I took with the thing, don't know why that one is so crappy.  I'm guessing I was just clueless on how to use the thing.

Is this better?

Ok, 2 things really.  A:  Welcome to the 21st century, LOL!  and B:  Is that tractor moving?  Tell me that's safe.  Not like you're going to hit anything thought, except maybe a little storm!

Yep, it was moving, at 6.3mph.   :(   And yes, it was safe to do so.  When operating machinery you are always spinning around looking in different directions, doing different things.  As a matter of fact, when I took that picture I was steering with my knee, holding the camera in one hand, and bumping the gear shifter with my other hand.  That isn't too bad though, the last day I was planting I was drinking a pop, steering, running the hydraulics, and then got a phone call, that kept me busy.  When you are round baling such as in these pictures, you only look forward occasionally, just to make steering corrections.  The rest of the time you are looking behind you at the pickup (not a truck, the thing that collects the hay) and watching the baler, to see which side you need to feed hay into.  And yes, this next picture I took while I was moving as well.

And for the 21st century remark, well I'll just say you'd be amazed by the computer in this tractor I'm driving, it'll keep track of and control so much stuff we don't know how to use it all.

Nope, just a garden hose.  While I was waiting for the hay to dry down enough to start baling I figured I might as well get all the crap off the 7120, turned out pretty good.  This afternoon I washed our 7220, damn that red paint looks good when its all shined up.

Yes, that is our version of a lawn mower.  It is grossly overpowered here, but this tractor works pretty well on it.  The fact it has air conditioning also helps (I mean it helps dad as he was the one doing the mowing, I just raked, baled, and moved bales).

Here I am with some of what I ended up yesterday, got 30 of these big bales (1400lbs each) off of 12 acres.  These are what pop out of the baler in the above pictures.

Nice looking pics Jp.  Your farm equipment/tractors look great  :( .  I can't wait to get back to Neb. this summer so I can go mess around on the farm for a couple of days, I will hopefully have a dig. camera by then so I will have to snap some pics to post.
