I say yes but definitely prefer the clean satin look over shiny.  Water based tire products are better in the long run for not only the tire but the wheels as well.  The petroleum based tire care products over long term use will cause dry rot due to drawing out the oils in the rubber.  It also causes the clear coat on wheels to check as well if you aren't careful with keeping it off the finish.

Which water base ones do you prefer? I thought about Meguiars Hyper Dressing that can be diluted for shine level and used on multiple surfaces. Just trying to use up the products I have before I get it or something similar.

+1 for Adams Tire Armor.  Not to shiney (depending on how many coats you use) and lasts a really long time.  Tire stays clean too in between washes.  Not a lot of dirt on the surface.

I use it consistently. Even the drive thru wash I use in the winter has tire shine as part of the process. My truck that just went thru the wash yesterday and my Chevelle that's just been sitting waiting for spring. 20240301_190159.thumb.jpg.7b0b2d1a1d9a80106afff3c3ed76bef3.jpg20240301_190311.thumb.jpg.0f0827a18255200187c9b1d9b20dd68e.jpg

Has anyone tried Nicks?

They have been on Facebook advertising for a while so I ordered some. $15 a can. They call it a coating so it's supposed to last longer. It don't but is sure is shiny until it gets wet.

I like a clean tire look also, if you wash your truck and the tires are still a little dirty then the truck just doesnt look or feel clean.  I like just a little shine but I cant find any that doesnt sling on the side of the truck, which I cant stand because then dirt sticks and my truck looks dirty not long after washing it.  I just take a hard bristle scrub brush and scrub them down real good when I wash my truck to get the clean look.  I use to work for the county (local gov't) years ago and they had some kind of foamy cleaner that gave the tire a clean look but didnt sling off and it went on real foamy but I cant for the life of me remember what it was called and it still bothers me this day because it was exactly what I need now.

I like the Griots Ceramic tire shine. Its more of a matte/new tire look rather than a shiny one. With black rims, a dull tire just looks weird.
