brclark82 Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 What is everyone seeing for payload on the yellow sticker on their truck. I am specifically looking for the 3500 SRW Long Bed Denali Duramax but curious to see all the different configurations. I know the advertised payload but I want to see everyone’s real life numbers. Make sure to leave the model/trim/cab/bed/engine Thanks

Make sure to leave the model/trim/cab/bed/engine Thanks I looked at the exact set up you are describing (4x4) to find the payload at just under 3,600. I was shocked, as advertised was around 4,200. Ended up going DRW as a result.
Dunn Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 (edited) LT 2500 crew, gas, standard bed and payload is 3596 lbs Edited September 22, 2020 by Dunn
Lostboy792 Posted September 23, 2020 Posted September 23, 2020 Lt 2500 crew cab long bed gas 4x4, with plow prep, 3561# payload
Njmurvin Posted September 23, 2020 Posted September 23, 2020 The Duramax certainly seems to take a chunk out of the payload. My 3895 lb rating is plenty for what I tow. But I can see how some folks towing really heavy could be disappointed - especially in the highly optioned trucks.
clk7711 Posted September 23, 2020 Posted September 23, 2020 2020 AT4 3500 SRW Duramax long bed 3777lbs.

Stand By Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Hmmmm... 2500 custom crew cab, 6.6 gas with plow prep and I'm only showing 3411. This 7" info screen must really be super heavy. 1

Dunn Posted December 20, 2020 Posted December 20, 2020 am kinda shocked that 3500 payload is only couple hundred pounds more than 2500 in alot of cases.....thought it would be significantly more for some reason.....guess since a 1/2 ton to 3/4 ton is huge step so figured it would be another big step to 1 ton....

The bigger increase in payload comes with the dually.
Joe T Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Yeah you really become limited by tires. The 3/4 ton is nice because you dont have your tpms going off under 80psi in the rear. But sometimes you need the little extra 1 ton SRW capacity.
