So, salesman says my ordered truck is in 4300 but couldn't explain what that meant. Anyone have a clue? Truck was built last week of November, 21 but still in Flint.

Thanks

Pretty Sure If it is at Flint Our trucks are either surrounded by 1000's of trucks and they are unable to get to them without moving a bunch of other vehicles or they are lost in one of the various lots of 1000's of trucks and they don't know where they parked them. Either way I am unsure if they care about their paying and loyal customers.  Waiting a year for a vehicle is out of hand especially when they are just sitting in transit status and not waiting on chips or parts. They are complete builds just deliver them to the dealers so customers can enjoy their Chevy before they are forced to buy another OEM's Product. Camping season is coming up and if I don't get it soon I will probably be backing out of the deal as I am tired of waiting already.

Last month they told me it was in a rail yard waiting for a train. I don't believe uncle Warren's trains are sitting still! The frustrating part for me is the dealer called Thanksgiving weekend and said it was on its way. Asked me to come in and pay for it so they could order another truck. Dec 4th I paid for the truck with the understanding it would be here around Dec 21.  Before you get in a tissy about me paying for it before it arrived, I've purchased many trucks and sub's from this guy and consider the owner a friend, so I trusted him! Won't happen again, thats for sure!

Interested to know if it comes with heated/cooled seats.

I've seen some on the inventory search that appear to have them. i.e. no credit for the missing features.

Hi all. I just took delivery today of my 3500 Denali from Reno NV.  Order was placed on 8/10/21.  It's been a long time coming but it's a good day today!

I didn't get heated/cooled seats ($200 credit) or upfitter switches. Everything else is pretty much as expected.

Best wishes to those still waiting.  Hope y'all get it soon.

Congratulations glad to see yours arrived.  Update on mine Ordered my 3500 HD  March of 2021 it was built November 10th 2021 and it has been stuck in transit status in Flint since. It is now March 17th over a year since I ordered it and still no truck No answers from GM after multiple calls, just stuck in this waiting game of not knowing.

Hey all...starting to worry a bit.  I am thinking that maybe my truck has been damaged and/or waiting on a new order?  Truck has been delayed 5x so far.  I have no delivery date.  Dealer continues to say "just sitting there".

Ordered early June, built week of 11/15.  4300 ever since.

Anybody have any contacts in the upper chain?

Order ZWTJRP.

I don't have any connections with GM.  Have you tried to sit down with the dealership General Manager in his/her office, and explain your lack of confidence in the truck that is on order?  Maybe they have an order in they could modify to fit your needs.  Or maybe (s)he'd be willing to make calls on your behalf.

That's a full day of travel, and probably $100 in gas.  But if you set up the meeting agenda before you go, and get buy in from the dealership, it may be the best day and $100 you'll spend.

I would need a ride (wifey) to go with me down.  She is a pharmacist manager and rarely gets a day off (week from time to time).  I look at the dealer website and ask and he says they are all spoken for.  :(

Tough spot for sure.

We'll keep our fingers crossed for you.

I called this Number 855-880-1500  for GM Exec (The regular Customer Service Line was a useless attempt) as of yesterday they have escalated a case trying to get details as to what the status of my truck is I ordered a year ago. I am supposed to hear back in the next 2-3 business days.

    • Whoever greenlighted the work truck matte black front bumpers on every trim but the AT4X should be fired!  I was hoping that was an AI mistake, but just realized they were on every model of the 2027 Silverado too.     Some parts of the interior do look premium, but the Denali Ultimate dashboard looks like an afterthought.  At least they appear to have lost the microfiber the high end Silverado models showed, but the '27 High Country dash looks better than the Denali.
    • New member here. I am researching a read-first event-recorder concept for late-model GM V8 trucks. This is not a sales post. There is no product link, price, preorder, or mailing list. I am trying to determine whether the underlying problem is real before building anything.   Has your truck ever had a brief problem such as: - rough running or a momentary misfire - an oil-pressure warning or unusual pressure event - reduced power or a brief stall - a U-code or lost-communication problem - a symptom that disappeared before the dealer or independent shop could reproduce it   If so, I would appreciate the following details: - year, model, engine, and mileage - what happened and under what conditions - whether a DTC and useful freeze-frame data were stored - whether the shop was able to reproduce it - what the eventual confirmed repair was, if known - what additional information would have helped the diagnosis   The concept being evaluated is a removable leave-in recorder that continuously retains a rolling window from before and after an event. It would not tune, reflash, clear codes, or change the vehicle calibration.   I am also not claiming that it could predict lifter failure or see every internal ECM variable.   The real question is whether continuous event history would add enough useful evidence beyond freeze frame, GDS2, and existing scan tools — or whether it would simply be another unnecessary gadget.   For owners and technicians, which problem would make something like this genuinely useful: 1. intermittent misfire or AFM/DFM-related behavior 2. oil-pressure events 3. lost communication or electrical faults 4. none of the above Please be blunt. Negative feedback is just as useful as positive feedback.
    • No tears over the SLE and SLT trim levels disappearing but I kind of loathe the "Elevation" name. It's a truck--skip the elegance.   The slab-dashboard design is decidedly different. Almost has a Hummer flavor to it. "Professional Grade" seems to be leaning very white-collar, tech-driven these days moreso than blue-collar, functional design.   The Silverado would be my choice between the two new trucks. Pleased with the engine lineup in both. The GMC is a little "too much" for a truck, IMO, and the Denali borders on ridiculous - but I do know there are buyers for luxury trucks out there. It's just not my speed.
