2019 Chevy Silverado Bed Question

I have a 2019 chevy silverado 1500LD midnight edition z71 could someone tell me what other years and models have the same bed. Any help is appreciated

Any double cab from 2014 to 2018 should be the same.

Hummm...same bed as what? 2017 Crew Cabs had the 5'8" short bed with a 6'6" option; Double cabs  all had 6'6" beds & reg Cabs had 6'6" or 8' beds Hope that helps...

I have a 2019 LD and it's sometimes called Legacy class. 

As stated, it's the same body as 2014-2018. 

So when you're looking for parts and accessories, look for 2014-2018 or Legacy. 

 

Remember, the new body style started in 2019. That's a different truck than our 2019's. 

 

I don't know why it's called LD, "Light Duty". 

Is our payload lighter?

The payload is the same as previous years Joe. It is a light duty truck. 3/4 are called HD.

They did the same thing (old body and new body same year) in 2007 and called it the classic.

So, basically all 1500 trucks are the same. I'm guessing they are all 1/2 ton. 

 

It's just strange they call this one light duty and have the letters LD on the tailgate. It makes it sound inferior.

Since mine has the LT package, I would rather it had the LT on the tailgate.

The new truck ,2007 was delayed, and they had soft sales with a lot of stock and parts left, so you got the 2007 "Classic", and the new 2007 in the same year too.
