engine shuts off after 10 to 15minutes when using auto starts

Is it normal for the truck to shut off engine after 10-15 minutes whenever you use the auto start remote? Or is the truck suppose to stay on as if you had the key in the ignition? Mine would allow maybe 1 or 2 times of remote auto start, after the 10-15 minutes it shuts off, then if I still want to remote start again, it wouldn't. TIA!!!

10 minutes x 2 is completely normal. Your truck is working as it was designed.

20mins if you have an aftermarket alarm.

Where I'm at in Minnesota it's below zero a lot and even after 20 minutes it's still cold.

I wish it had a high idle setting when it's below zero.

10 minutes at 1300 rpm would be better than 20 minutes at 550-600 rpm

You can set a high idle with a handleheld tuner such as the intune3

Throw on a jacket, run out, put the key in it, turn it on and run back in the house!

Then watch some low life drive it away . Unless you're out in the country I wouldn't do that.

Just put on a jacket then go out and start truck, 30 sec later start driving. Will heat up a lot faster that way anyways.
