Just bought a cheap boroscope today.

I'm going to install that S&B intake soon that is sitting in our spare bedroom but I also want to know how much oil has entered into the intake after 7500 miles. I do run an oil catch can from JL but it only gets vapors from the left side of the engine. I'm curious as to how much oil has entered the intake from the right side as well and will be finding out soon. The imaging is amazing from it from what I've seen so far just playing around with it. 65 bucks from Amazon, hard to beat. I can see now why it got 4.5 stars and rave reviews. Anyhow @Pryme we will see. And when I install the S&B intake I'm going to route the right valve cover vent to the catch catch can as well just for the hell of it. I'll take pics along the way and post them when I actually do it. Probably within the next couple of weeks. I'm trying to let the pollen slow down before I install the intake.

I will be watching closely and also canceling my upcoming colonoscopy. I’ll just borrow your Boroscope!! Ha

Colonoscopy? No big deal.

Try open heart surgery, brain surgery, cancer.

I haven't had either one but it's a walk in the park compared to the others.

We have some friends, a married couple who are past due for a colonoscopy and refuse to do it.

I saw recently the odds of colon cancer change very little wether you do the procedure or not. Like everything in life you have to weigh the risks. The procedure itself carries risks. I went with someone to drive them home afterwards. It was like an assembly line. No one in my family has had colon cancer. I’ll pass.

I’ve never had one but I believe it’s to find it as early as possible if you do have it since it can fester for a long time sometimes undetected.

I’m a little biased even when the say it’s minimally invasive. My wife had a minimally invasive procedure 10 years ago. 5 years and 5 corrective surgeries later she is now 80 percent better. The by product of all those surgeries created other problems. Requiring us to travel 300 miles monthly to visit a physical therapist to keep her functional. Additionally forcing me to retire 8 years earlier than I wanted to helping with her recovery. Adding a friend who worked in medical billing at a hospital. Mention one day there’s a surprising amount of injury bumping or tearing. Requiring additional procedures to correct. After much research about medical procedures. Most people would be surprised that things may be done because there’s money in it.

It's to catch problems early giving the best survival rate. All medical procedures can go bad, roll of the dice.

We have had quite a few of them, the wife the most due to history.

There’s a test now that determines risk for breast cancer. Even though there’s a procedure to detect lumps, people are now just cutting them off. If the gene is present. My mother had breast cancer twice detected through the yearly check up. She’s now 84. People have a hard time living life without fear. Our last pandemic proved that. My wife and I do what we want, without living in fear.

Had open heart surgery in 2021 and a lung surgery(thoracotomy) in 2003, but I crapped in the box last year instead of doing the colonoscopy. Thankfully it came back clear.

I have a cheap teslong borescope, it works ok for inspecting barrels, hadn't really thought about using it in a manifold, but sure it would work.

You all do know since my good buddy @Pryme...well that is debatable right now...brought up the whole using my boroscope for a colonoscopy and you alls comments haven't quelled my fear of having this done right? You all are not helping at all...just so you know...but I do appreciate a laugh at my colon apparently....bastards....LMAO....you all rock....thanks for keeping things light and not so crappy...lol...

Ok, back to the right cover to catch can. When I was looking at stuff about catch cans. They were saying that the one going to the air intake was the clean side and the pcv side is the dirty side. I took it as air going in one side and sucked out the other side. Is this wrong thinking.

I can honestly say I don't know. What I do know is the left side enters directly into the intake whereas the right side is ported into the air filter box. The S&B intake ports the right side into the intake runner right before the throttle body. That's a great question though that I honestly don't know the answer to. Perhaps my endeavor of routing the right side vent to the catch can is futile at best. I don't know.
