Replacing Engine& trans 91 chevy 1500,short. Bed What motor& transmission??? Just basic stock components?? What size in both components pl🤷🤷

Technically the 88-94's use the same TBI engines, maybe very minor changes. But the engine block itself, be it a 305 or 350 would swap over and you'd just bolt your stuff to it.

 

95 or 96 was the Vortec engines with spider injection and the better vortec heads that made more horsepower, so not exactly what you want to use.

 

I forget if 91 was still 700r4, I think 93+ was the first 4L60's. You can google a lot of this stuff too.
