I’m moderate right and ANYONE who isn’t a cult member can see Re-electing a convicted felon POTUS and thinking it’s gonna get better is living a lie. HE is HIS retribution and he’s deconstructing our government while the majority in Congress flags him

on faster.
Losers lose and our country is at risk.

Jeffery Epstein was his best bud and Trumps doing ANYTHING to keep his minions to ignore it.

You that believed he was an answer will find he’s our undoing.

The felon was liberal warfare. They are afraid of the past deception of the Russia collusion will become evident. It is. Don’t ruin this thread with delusional rhetoric like you usually do. Maybe these good times are too much for you. I’m witnessing better daily. Just cool it.

Yep, and this is the problem. Going back to the original thread topic, of course the incident had to be politicized, because that's what people do. But it's also not unwarranted. There was a camp in a floodplain. They had previous interactions with FEMA and their buildings being in a flood plain. There was definitely more than an ounce of prevention - as there typically is with these types of incidents - but look how far the 'right' went off the rails. The excuses, the pandering, and even their lazy state senator decided to stay a few extra days on his personal vacation while all this went down. But hey, who cares, right?

That was the week when destroying FEMA might need to be put on hold, because the broke constituents need federal assistance. Put a pin in that, for a moment.

I'm fiscally conservative, socially liberal, and none of that has changed since I've been a young adult. I stand for my principles while always championing for the poor and vulnerable, even when it costs money. There's ALWAYS something to be learned from an incident, and I find it absolutely disgusting how the right is trying to wiggle out of this and how they're so mired in their own controversy of screwing the vulnerable while trying to make excuses for a pedophile in the white house.

Another one, geez. The right showed up. There’s so many volunteers some had to be turned away. My minister is there as we speak. I donated directly. We don’t complain we get to work. We learn make adjustments and move on. Nobody is wiggling anything. We’re getting busy so they can educate people at the campground next year. With additional safe guards. A once in a lifetime flood is what it was. By your way of thinking maybe California shouldn’t rebuild those burnt out houses. Ridiculous. I can guarantee this that area will be up and running long before woke California.

Trumpers aren't right politically or budget or debt wise. Trumpers give REAL conservatives a bad name.  Nor can they do math.

Big Beautiful Bill Debt

President Donald Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" (OBBBA), signed into law on July 4, 2025, is projected to significantly increase the federal debt. According to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), the bill will add at least $3.4 trillion to federal deficits over the next decade. Some estimates suggest the increase could reach $4.1 trillion through 2034 on a conventional basis. If the temporary provisions in the bill are made permanent, the debt increase could rise to approximately $5.0 trillion.

The gross federal debt has already climbed to more than $36 trillion, up from about $23 trillion in early 2020 — an increase of over 50% in just five years. Under the OBBBA, debt is projected to rise from 100% of GDP today to 124% of GDP by 2034. If the bill’s temporary provisions are extended permanently, the debt could climb to 129% of GDP, or even 133% if interest rates remain high.

The bill includes $5.3 trillion in tax cuts and spending increases, partially offset by $2.9 trillion in revenue increases and spending cuts. The Ways & Means Committee’s policies alone would increase deficits by $3.8 trillion, while the Energy & Commerce title would reduce deficits by $1.1 trillion. Interest costs on the new debt would double between 2024 and 2034, reaching $1.8 trillion (4.2% of GDP).

The Senate version of the bill could add even more to the debt, potentially increasing borrowing by $4.2 trillion if Byrd rule violations are removed, or even $4.5 trillion with rumored adjustments. The bill also raises the debt ceiling by $5 trillion, the largest increase in U.S. history.

The White House, however, claims that the bill will ultimately reduce the debt-to-GDP ratio to 94% by 2034 due to economic growth effects, contrasting with the CBO's projections.

Your state takes more from FEDS than they ever give to the kitty, you should show up.  Change that 17 billion $ suck and I will be impressed.  The US taxpayer carries states like Texas.  You can't argue against it but you can live in a dream world where trump = Jesus. What a fraud to Jesus.

You’re such a hateful person. I hate to agree with Grumpy but I’m done with you. God knows I tried. Disagreements don’t have to be hateful. Good luck

Baring False Witness. Shame on you. If you can’t win the battle call names. Typical. I got one for you criminal referral. As for now you and your partner in false accusations have fun. I’m not interested. And there’s an Astros game.

I mean, there are accounts of the guy sexualizing his 17 year old daughter. But apparently that eluded your moral requirements for POTUS, even before the Epstein business. But support and defend whomever you think deserves it, I guess?

Not me, I'm better than that.

Mean while back to the typic "KERRVILLE FLOODING".

Nah, hearing that Trump was informed by the DOJ in May that his name appears in the EPSTEIN FILES (Client list?) is way more interesting. Besides, according to Karnut they're done rebuilding and they have all the help that was needed.
