Hello all,

I'm very interested in this upgrade and I have gone through the 38 pages of this great topic. I have a 2008 Z71 LT with the 5.3L, I have one question, I found the DIC listed on E-bay and it says it is not to be used with the LT Models? I thought I seen some back pages where guys have installed on the LT package.

I'm confused, can any lend some help.

That part number (19159438) is actually FOR an LT/SLE,And NOT an LTZ/SLT....He's mistaken on his listing.

I installed mine on my 2009 WT/LS. Love it! Only problem is now pushing buttons while driving.

Absolutely! I have a 2008 Z71 LT 4x4 and it works perfectly! Best mod I've ever done.

so it does not matter if its an LT? the GM Accessories Zone says its not for use on LT Models. and its the Same Part number as on the Ebay Listing. (GM Part #19159438)

Why wait? It literally takes no tools and one minute.

OR, just order the part. Not ONE person has not had the wiring there. It's a no-brainer here.

Not sure how many guys have to install this for everyone to get the picture here?

but why does GM not want you to put it on an LT? if anything, these DIC Button Upgrades would sell like hotcakes if they said its good for all trim levels!
