So, today I blacked out the GMC emblems on the grille & tailgate on my '19 AT4. My truck is black and I like the sleek black look. This was a simple, subtle mod in that direction. I used 3M 1080 wrap vinyl & a little heat. They came out nice and if I decide I want them red again, for some reason, I can just remove the vinyl.2 points

I took the truck in for oil change and inspection, they put the stickers on like in the picture, I took it back and made them redo the stickers with new ones and kept the class 2 sticker and put in with the registration like everyone suggested, they also put in 1 quart to much oil so they had to remove that also < after all it is a tire and auto service center...lol2 points

I got mine from ShopChevyParts last year. They have it on sale for $559 and they offer 5% off coupon for new customers which should help offset the shipping cost.1 point

Nice. I’m really curious if this diesel will prove to be anything close to as reliable as the Cummins. I hope so because one will be in my future if it is. I love all straight six engines.1 point

my money is on a bad DI injector, somewhat of a common issue on the 2014+ DI trucks.1 point

I agree, my truck is 6 months old, not looking to void the warranty on the parts I had installed. I have an e-mail into my guy at the dealership that does all my work. See if he has any idea's. We can't be the only ones to ever ask LOL1 point

I have saw pictures of previous generations with retractable covers, took a little modification to make it work. I am just hoping to figure out the cover that will take the least amount of modification (I would rather void the warranty on the cover than the truck)1 point

I notice slight wind noise from rear spoiler over 65 mph, but nothing out of ordinary from front. I have driven my 19 then 20 and probably 12 service loaners never noticed any noise from front rearview mirror area. If it is a bad seal try covering seams up with some blue painters tape and see if noise goes away Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk1 point

Correct me if I'm wrong, but USB C & lighting cable don't necessarily mean a fast charge. They mean faster data transfer speeds. Fast charging is based on high amp output at charging source.1 point

With money being the way it is, I decided to just go with the 275/55s and put the additional money towards an alignment after i get them installed. i was also worried that Costco would freak out about installing a non oem listed size.1 point

While I agree it’s dangerous to not be able to see in front of the vehicle, that’s where a good driver and not just technology comes into play. Your lifted truck is probably no higher than a stock 25001 point

I never had a problem, with my 14 Silverado, and I took it in about a month ago to have it recalibrated, and still haven’t had a problem.1 point

I appreciate the suggestion, but I'm gonna pass on that.1 point

Just got my 19' Trail Boss about a week and a half ago. De-bagged it almost immediately, as I have no idea why the one chrome thing you would put on the truck (everything else being blacked out) would be "Silverado" and "LT" on the back.... also didn't like the Trail Boss stickers, so took them off too; looks cleaner IMO. But yesterday, I added the color matched mirror caps, got it ceramic coated, put a 1.5" Rough Country level kit on the front, and added the Borla s-type catback exhaust w/ carbon fiber tips (#40770CF). Truck also has the GM cold air intake on it already. Here's a video I took of a cold start of the exhaust today. Wanted to share, as I had a hard time finding comparisons for the new 2019/2020 Silverados. was going back and fourth between touring and s-type, leaning more towards the touring, until I listened to the videos in my truck, with its sound system. Computer speakers and cell phone speakers just don't do it justice.... need to get those bass tones. Super glad I went with the s-type, it's loudest at a could start, low/soft growl with driving in lower gears around town/in neighborhood, at highway speeds you can't really tell it's there, until you press on the gas to accelerate or pass someone. I'm in my late 30's and didn't want to go all high school on the exhaust, but super happy I went with the s-type the deep tones are nice and rich, and should really mellow out over time, and it's not obnoxiously loud. And absolutely zero drone at highway speeds.1 point

The new wheels will fit the previous generation truck, but not older wheels on the new model. The new model trucks have larger brake calipers. Sent from my SM-J810F using Tapatalk1 point

You can do the emblem blackout. Just take the vinyl, cut squares of it that cover the entire letter including the chrome. Lay it on evenly with no bubbles (simple on such a small thing). Take an xacto knife or similar and carefully slide it along the inside edge of the chrome outline. That will leave just enough vinyl after you've got the letter cut out to tuck into the gap between the letter & chrome outline. If it doesn't want to tuck cleanly, use a bit of heat from a heat gun or hairdryer. You could probably even just do it in the sun to make it conform. If it doesn't turn out, just do it again until you get it right. Vinyl is cheap.1 point

Haven't done much yet, other than remove the Rocky ridge window banners and tint the windows. Had a local guy apply ceramic paint protection. Here are some pics at his house: Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk1 point

I've gone through this entire process. See my build thread and pm me if you need additional info. BTW the OE battery size will not fit the second tray. Again, read my thread. I have part #s, pictures, and videos. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk. My build thread: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?/topic/192614-Tenscourts'-2016-LTZ/Z71-CCSB-4WD-Silverado1 point
