Forums have taken a hit because of Facebook groups. But, I'm on two groups for 2014-18 GM trucks and they're full of morons. If you want pictures of giant wheels with stretched tires, sign up. If you want real advice, come here. haha3 points

Hi All. Recently picked you a Pacific Blue Sierra 1500 AT4 with Premium Package. Truck is great. Everyone loves it. Started a few minor mods to personalize. Coming from the import car scene. Will be looking for inspiration, help with a few issues, learning what trucks are for [emoji4]. Out in Manitoba, Canada. (uploading from the phone sorry if this is massive will fix later)2 points

Boost auto parts, but if you want to just use the auto fog mod it’ll do the same thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

They're changing the fluid to the new version. We shall see. He said it's fixed his other customer's trucks.1 point

This has been on the back burner simmering while I sort through some driveline vibes. But, if I had to put my money on it today, I think you're spot on. I'd go with the 4545 units. KYB told me they are brand new on the market so most distributors dont have them yet. For $350 to get new upper mounts, dust covers, softer springs, and monotube shocks...seems like a steal. Some may poo poo on Gas-a-just but in my experience they are good shocks. Heck even monroe reflex monotubes are good. On my NBS Silverado I used about 6 different brands of shocks, including Bilstein, til I discovered the reflex monotubes rode the best. And if they only last 5 years/60,000 miles....oh well....most of us get bored anyway and start looking for things to do.1 point

No, it's more like when you are backing up to something real close like a wall.1 point

Sorry for the lack of responses guys, I've been on vacation. ?️ Thanks! I use Adam's Buttery Wax every other wash, I think this was not too long after its last wax. Really recommend it if you don't have a garage for applying wax because you can actually apply it in direct sunlight on a warm day and its still super easy to buff off. Also, the vehicle parked in the garage was a 2016 Ford Police Interceptor Utility, you can just make out the push bar and silver/white chevrons on the bumper - and now you know my day job.1 point

Some folks talk out of both sides of their neck. They say social distancing and masks was a conspiracy, now it's a problem with no social distancing or masks protests? C'mon man! Lack of social distancing and masks was a problem then, and is still a problem now.1 point

Been following this thread for some time. American Trucks just added grille inserts from Putco. They make them in Black and Chrome. Just ordered mine to see what I am dealing with. Enjoy https://www.americantrucks.com/silverado-parts-2019.html1 point

I don't know how you didn't switch brands. I would have left GM had that happened to me.1 point

@GA_LTZ You have to make sure you disconnect the battery for 2 1/2 hours on these new trucks. I spoke with the technician at S & B. This allows the computer to relearn the new air flow of the CAI. And also turn off the filter life, and you're good to go! I have had K & N and Spectre CAI's but after installing and having my S & B on my Sierra, and waiting on my High Country, I won't go back. The price, fit and finish, performance, and looks are huge selling points. Now that being said, I think Roto-fab, Cold Air Inductions, and AFE all make very good products, so close to one another, it really comes down to PRICE!! Good luck with your purchase! Have a great weekend!1 point

I’m gonna dig through the OM and see if I can turn the horn off when locking/arming alarm! Sometimes I work long hours and that horn is loud for the neighborhood.1 point

I was never a fan of the "auto" setting on the 4WD selector, but for whatever reason I tried it today in the snow and ice here in Colorado. I flipped to the 'off-road' page of the DIC and noticed it said AWD, not 4WD, with all 4 tires in green. I didn't realize it's a whole different mode, assumed it would switch at will between 2WD and 4WD. It was quite nice to have that extra traction going down the road and not have to shift back to 2WD to enter a parking lot without binding up while turning.1 point

My settings to enable or disable those features are in the infotainment system. The mirrors are in comfort and convince (I think) and I forget where the window is located, but they are both in there if equipped on your vehicle.1 point

Well, it isn't old news to you! I just want to caution you if you decide you want one of those grill mounted light bars...to my knowledge, nobody makes a bar that fits into the grill without modifying the active grill shutters...1 point

Makes sense, it was tracking so straight that LKA never had to do anything either. Hey at least I know I have a pretty good alignment ?1 point
